چکیده
Genetic variability is the main characteristic when seeking to select promising genotypes for plant breeding. Thus, objective of this work was investigate genetic in agronomic and morphological characteristics traditional varieties maize, addition determining degree association selection variety characters be explored programs breeding Creole maize. The experiment conducted at Federal University Acre (UFAC), Rio Branco - Acre, 2017/2018 harvest period. A randomized block design used, with five replications. treatments were four maize (V1, V2, V3 V4) from Vale do Juruá region another hybrid cultivar LG 3040 (HI). morpho-agronomic evaluated useful area plots: days silking (DS), anthesis (DA), height (PH) ear insertion (HEI), stem diameter (SD), mass (ME), length (LE), (DE), total grain (TGM), 100 (M100G), moisture (GM) productivity (GP). data subjected analysis variance comparison means. values genotypic phenotypic also estimated, heritability broad sense, accuracy, phenotypic, environmental correlation, principal component (PCA). Variations found between their interrelations, showing greater influence ME, PH, TGM, M100G, DE GP expression phenotype. Therefore, it concluded that there evaluated, emphasis V4 showed superior performance allowing direct SD, TGM M100G incorporated into an program.

Selection of Dwarf Stature Yield Potential Lines from F3 Populations of White Maize (Zea mays L.)
'Dwarf stature' maize variety offers promises to withstand unfavorable growth environments of Kharif season. But, for developing such variety, dwarf stature inbred lines must be available. Here, twenty-four F3 populations of white maize were evaluated though assessment of their genetic variability, heritability, and character association for selection of dwarf stature promising lines based on y...

Genome wide selection and new methods of maize breeding The objectives of this work were to verify the accuracy of the Genome Wide Selection method (GWS) in the maize breeding for nutritional stress conditions and propose new breeding methods based on GWS. The efficiency of two components of use of nitrogen and phosphorus (absorption and utilization) was estimated in 41 single-cross hybrids ass...

phatic communion is a cultural concept which differs across cultures. according to hofstede (2001), the u.s. tends to have individualistic culture; however, asian countries tend to have collectivistic cultures. these cultures view phatic communion differently. in individualistic cultures like u.s., phatic communion reflects speakers’ socio-cultural relationships in conversations. to see whether...
15 صفحه اولVariability in wood properties of promising willow clones
The objective of the article is to investigate the variability in growth and wood properties of the willow clones. The growth and wood traits of four year old 21 clones willow clones were investigated. Analysis of variance showed that willow clones differed significantly for all the studied growth and wood traits. Among the growth parameters the maximum heritability value was shown by height wh...
متن کاملNitrogen management strategies for smallholder maize production systems: Yield and profitability variability
Maize (Zea mays L.) production requires large amounts of nitrogen (N) thatdirectly affect production cost. Poultry litter can be used as an alternative source ofN. To optimize its use, poultry litter requires technical and economic feasibilityanalyses. Crop simulation models have proven to be efficient tools to support thistype of research. The objectives of this study were to determine yield a...
